[HTCondor-users] HTCondor Week + OSG All-Hands Meeting = Throughput Computing 2023

Hello HTCondor Users, OSG Users and Contributors, Researchers and Collaborators!

You are invited to Throughput Computing 2023 — an event that combines HTCondor Week 2023 and the OSG All-Hands Meeting 2023 — in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, the week of July 10–14.

https://path-cc.io/htc23

This is primarily an in-person event (remote participation is also possible) at the Fluno Center on the University of  Wisconsin–Madison campus. Participants can join tutorials and talks from HTCondor and OSG developers, collaborators, facilitators, and OSPool users and contributors. You’ll have a chance to meet others like yourself and attend social events. For those who cannot attend in person, we will broadcast plenary sessions via Zoom.

Registration for Throughput Computing 2023 is open now and is required for both in-person and virtual attendance. The registration deadline for in-person attendance is June 15, 2023, and the cost is $100 per day. There is no fee to attend virtually.

We will have a variety of in-depth talks and tutorials where you can learn more about HTCondor and how other people are using and deploying HTCondor. OSG Consortium staff, campuses, and researchers will discuss topics including the state of the OSG, OSG services, science enabled by the OSPool, and campus services and perspectives.

You can establish contacts and learn best practices from people in research, academia, government, and industry who are using OSG or HTCondor services to solve challenging problems or to contribute to scientific research locally and globally.

Speaking of learning from the community, the HTCondor team would love to have you give a talk at one of the HTCondor focused sessions. Talks are 15–20 minutes long and are a great way to share your ideas and get feedback from the community. If you have a compelling use of HTCondor you'd like to share, see the Speaker Information page:
