Cooperative Bug Isolation Project builds of The GIMP 2.0pre1 are now
available. This is the first prerelease of the upcoming table GIMP 2.0.
Now is a perfect time to install and catch a glimpse of the future of the
GIMP. Enjoy!

Note that this release is also known as 1.3.24, and the main application
is still run as "gimp-1.3", not "gimp-2.0".
As with other recent GIMP releases, these builds are intended for use with
Ximian Desktop 2. We have not tried installing under stock Red Hat 9 and
make no promises about how such a configuration would behave.
