It appears that Simics got the SIGINT signal (control-C).  Does this
happen with Simics+Ruby?

You can try changing Opal to ignore the signal and see if it makes forward
progress by modifying opal/system/pstate.C, on line 1062 to change the
logic to ignore the exception.  This is a shot in the dark and I really
don't know Opal well enough to say what is going on.
