You can also check the Simics documentation on this. If I remember correctly, Simics can simulate a system with up to 384 UltraSpacrIII processors. We haven't tested it here though.

I would also like to point out that the current release of GEMS only supports processor counts that are powers of two.

Hello,

how many processors can a gems simulation support?

I'm working on a project and we are interested in simulating a 128 or
higher processor system.  Looking at the simics documentation though it
looks like you cannot have more than 30 processors...
