[Gems-users] Ruby Compile time error with gcc4.1.1

Hello, 

I am getting compile time error while building ruby. Earlier I was having gcc3.4.1 installed on my m/c, which just got
updated to gcc4.1.1 and now i am seeing compile time Ruby failures 

common/NetDest.h:141: error: extra qualification 'NetDest::' on member 'vecIndex'
common/NetDest.h:148: error: extra qualification 'NetDest::' on member 'bitIndex'
make[1]: *** [amd64-linux/generated/MOSI_SMP_bcast/obj/AddressMsg.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/vax4/p2/arch/nitin/gems-release1.3.1/ruby'
make: *** [all] Error 2

I am using gems-release1.3.1 and simics-pal-3.0.23-linux64
(amd64-linux) version. I have seen a similar post earlier post

//that solution doesnt solve the problem. 

It would be of great help if someone can resolve this issue.
