[Gems-users] atomic bus

Hi,

I have a question regarding modeling of an atomic bus in GEMS. I read an old
post about HIERARCHICAL_SWITCH providing ordering but that the interconnect
is not globally atomic, which I would like to have. Furthermore, it was
written that the atomicity could be maintained in the protocol
(MOSI_SMP_bcast).

I have looked in the MOSI_SMP_bcast* files in the protocol directory, but
failed to understand where to begin in order to achieve atomicity. Have I
looked at the right place? Is there any documentation from previous
experience regarding setting up an atomic bus? As I do not know where to
begin I would appreciate some pointers...
