The 479728 number should be the number of messages x the size of the message (typically 8 bytes for a control message)

 

I don't recall what is inside the brackets.

Looking in the stats file, in the Network stats part, I can see the following line:

outgoing_messages_switch_0_link_0_Request_Control: 59966 479728 [ 59966 0 0 0 ] base_latency: 1

What are the meaning of the parameters?
59966     the number of messages, isn't it?
but the following?
479728     [59966 0 0 0 ]
