Hi Dave,
Lookup is definitely called a lot in CacheMemory.h. Try use cscope to find
out the relationship between function calls, if you use vi. That's how I
survived programming with ruby.

Subject: [Gems-users] failed assertion in lookup
Hello,
I get a failed assertion 'loc != 1' in
system/CacheMemory.h:497, but I don't know how to
debug it. The protocol files do not make any calls to
lookup, so I'm wondering if there is a way to find out
what functions call CacheMemory::lookup(const
Address&).
Thanks,
Dave
