Sorry, there is no complete explanation guide.  I did try to comment rubyconfig.defaults better for the gems-2.0 release

 

There is an L1_CACHE_ASSOC and L2_CACHE_ASSOC used for L1 and L2 caches respectively.  In the SLICC protocol when CacheMemory is defined, you can use a different parameter if you want
