[Gems-users] simics/api.h problem

Hai,
I am trying to install gems-release2.1.1 on simics-3.2.49 on ubuntu x86_64
I followed all the instructions in the wiki page for the installation.I
have clearly checked the simics include directory path nd all.. problem is
that i am getting the following error when i tried to compile ruby.

default_param.h dependency dropped.
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `simics/api.h', needed by
`amd64-linux/generated/MOSI_SMP_bcast/obj/attrparse.o'.  Stop.

I checked for the file api.h in $GEMS/simics/src/include/simics, but its
not there.I searched for the file in $GEMS but i could not find any.
Please help
