Hi,
I am ruuning water-spatial benchamark on 16-core processor.
These are steps I am following.
1. read-configuration <the checkpoint you just created>
2.III. c
3../WATER-SPATIAL < input
This is working perfectly. I am getting the message "Exiting happily "
write-configuration <path>/cold.check
4 ./smics -stall
5 read-configuration <path>/cold.check
6 instruction-fetch-mode instruction-fetch-trace
7 istc-disble
8 dstc-disable
9 cpu-switch-time 1
10 magic-break-enable
11 load-module ruby
12 ruby0.init
13 ruby0.tracer-output-file <path where you want to put the cache file
ruby0.tracer-output-file <path>/trace.gz
14 c
15 ./WATER-SPATIAL < input
Here, I am not getting the "Exiting Happily" message
It is getting stuck at "New run starting from Regular Lattice"
16 When I dump stats and see, I get all 0 or infinity values
Can anybody help why is it happening so. I am stuck at this point for
about a month.Or guide me to the correct post. I dint find one. Thank You.

Hi all,
I am running splash / water benchmark with MESI_CMP_directory on a 16-core
chip with 4 L2 caches and 4 Memories. I am running WATER-SPATIAL using the
command ./WATER-SPATIAL < input
My Ruby parameters are
g_PROCS_PER_CHIP: 16
// set automatically
g_NUM_PROCESSORS: 16
g_NUM_L2_BANKS: 4
g_NUM_MEMORIES: 4
g_NETWORK_TOPOLOGY: FILE_SPECIFIED
NUMBER_OF_VIRTUAL_NETWORKS: 5
g_GARNET_NETWORK: true
g_DETAIL_NETWORK: true
These are the changes I have made to rubyconfig.defaults
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have dumped the stats. But I am getting
L1D misses = 0
L1I misses = 0
L2 misses = 0
ruby_cycle = 0
Average Link Utilization :: inf flits/cycle
Total Link Power = inf W
Total Router Power = nan W
PLEASE HELP ME..I AM IN VERY NEED OF IT.. EVEN YOUR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE
VERY PRECIOUS TO ME.
