Good news, thanks!
A few words on the platforms to support. Solaris 10 is still in a beta
stage, as far as I am aware
but Solaris 9 is very stable and just recently got a major update. So we
will keep it on both
Sparc and x86 platforms for the next academic year.
I would be nice to have a native condor package for Debian Linux on x86 (for
the 2.6.x kernel)
- it is one of the most stable linux distributions (unlike Fedora core,
which is inherently unstable)
and is widely used in academic community, on this side of Atlantic anyway.
To summarise the wish list of platforms to support:
Solaris 9 x86
Debian x86 (kernel 2.6.x)
