RE: [Condor-users] XP SP2 + 6.6.7

I haven't tried jobs leaving the SP2 box, only tried sending jobs to it.

So, for me condor_shadow wouldn't run, it would be condor_starter I'd need.
Another poster intimated that child processes should be covered by the
parent,
in this case startdd or schedd - maybe that isn't the case, although I
also cannot do a 
    condor_status -direct maching_name
nor a 
    condor_q -name machine_name
firewall problems often exhibit behaviour like this, and it can't be the
starter or shadow causing the problem in these cases.
