[Condor-users] PERMISSION DENIED Error

Dear All,

We have just upgraded from 6.6.10 to 6.7.10. Our network configuraiton requires condor to listen on multiple network interfaces i.e. we have "submit" nodes on one side of the master (the public network) and execution node on the other side of the master node (the clusters internal/private network).

When we were running with 6.6.10 we set NETWORK_INTERFACE=0.0.0.0 to force condor to listen on both interfaces.

Now that we are running 6.7.10 if we leave NETWORK_INTERFACE=0.0.0.0 set then we recieve the following PERMISSION DENIED errors when we try to submit jobs:

9/8 17:59:33 (pid:11319) DaemonCore: PERMISSION DENIED to unknown user from host <127.0.0.1:34882> for command 416 (NEGOTIATE)

If we set NETWORK_INTERFACE to a specific interface then we don't get the PERMISSION DENIED errors but we are unable to submit jobs from the external submission nodes.

Can anyone help please.

Best regards,
Roy.
