There is currently a 2048 byte limit on the length of a requirement
string in the submit file.
You may be able to work around this limitation if you can change your
startd configuration. Instead of saying
requirements = machine == "machine1" || machine == "machine2" ...
for some large set of machines, can you change the startds to export an
attribute (via STARTD_EXPRS) like
and change the requirements to be
requirements = HasSomeFeature =?= true
