[Condor-users] Windows CredD on Server 2003

Title: Windows CredD on Server 2003

Hi,

I've been successfully using the CredD authentication method for 4 months with 6.7.18 on XP. I have installed condor 6.7.18 to a Win2003 Server box. When I try to save a users credentials via condor_store_cred add on the Server03 box I keep getting the following message:

Operation failed. Make sure your HOSTALLOW_WRITE setting includes this host.
Interestingly enough, when I set up the condor_store_cred add -c, it saves the information without any problems, and I can do a query and get back a valid credential for the condor_pool user.

I have checked my HOSTALLOW_WRITE values backwards and forwards. I even tried setting it specifically to the machine's ip address without any success in storing a user credential. When I look in the credd log I see the following messages for each attempt to run condor_store_cred:

9/25 10:44:12 (pid:5512) my_popen: CreateProcess failed
9/25 10:44:12 (pid:5512) Failed to execute M:\condor/bin/condor_shadow.pvm.exe, ignoring
9/25 10:44:12 (pid:5512) my_popen: CreateProcess failed
9/25 10:44:12 (pid:5512) Failed to execute M:\condor/bin/condor_shadow.std.exe, ignoring

Does anyone have any ideas?
Greg:
Do you know if the credd server has ever been tested on Server03?
Thanks,

Tammy
