Re: [Condor-users] Java with Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Thanks for advice: I was wondering if the symlink could be a problem.

However, what is the fix? I have tried substituting the actual executable's path for where I had /usr/bin/java in the config, but same result :-(

Could it be that /usr/bin/java is actually a symlink on OS X?

I have the same issue, but no one ever was able to find a solution. I
ended up using the vanilla universe and launch the java jobs that way.

Hope this helps,

I've just added an Apple Mac to our pool, mainly to run Java jobs.
However, although it appears when I do a condor_status, it does not when
I do a condor_status -java.

Any ideas? I have JAVA = /usr/bin/java in the config file.

thanks!
