Re: [Condor-users] Condor-G error

In relation to one of the latest post.  I can get gt2 job submit to work ok with condor-g.  The problem I posted a few minutes ago happens only when I try to submit using gt4

Ok, I fixed the java variable, it was pointing to the generic java provided by GNU.

I clearly got through the past error.  However, I got this new error:

I did the steps of setting the GAHP var and the test worked with the ouput:
$GahpVersion: 1.0.15 Oct 12 2006 UW\ Gahp $

But now I am getting the error "ERROR "Gahp Server (pid=17020) exited with status 255
" at line 278 in file gahp-client.C" .

What should I do next.

There are different GAHP servers for pre-WS GRAM (gt2) and WS GRAM (gt4). To test the gt4 GAHP, you need to run the binary returned by 'condor_config_val gt4_gahp' on the command line.

My guess is that you don't have JAVA set properly in the Condor configuration file. The gt4 GAHP is written in java.
