Re: [Condor-users] installing condor on unix with a condor2 user

Hello Todd,

I have change the CONDOR_IDS in the condor_config, CONDOR_IDS=50146.10 and have make a condor_reconfig, but I have always this : bash-2.03$ bin/condor_config_val -tilde
/home/condor
instead of /home/condor2.

Thank you for your answer, it helps me a little
Sophie

Re the below, I think you can do what you want by setting the CONDOR_IDS environment variable to specify the uid:gid of the condor2 account. Look up CONDOR_IDS in the index of the manual.

hope this helps

Hi everybody,

We have create a new account condor2 and I am reinstalling condor on it, the problem is it possible to do it? And if is it possible how could I specify that condor must take the condor_config of condor2 home and not of condor home? I hope that I explain clearly my problem.
