I think you need to do this manually - the best idea is to think of distinct tasks in the application, put these into separate files, compile them and submit them as a dagman job.

As far as I am aware, there are no real tools to generically partition your code up in this way but I may be wrong.

What kind of application is the "job" - is it one large source code program?

We'll probably need more detail on what you are trying to run before we can help.
