[Condor-users] Newby question

Hi All,

I'm just starting to setup a condor network at U Hawaii Hilo office,  
mostly for my own work but also for teaching purposes.  Is there a  
simple and concise description of setup and testing of a condor pool  
somewhere?   The manual seems good but it is quite a tome.  Also,  
other questions:

1. Can I include different OS systems in the same pool (Linux, Mac  
OSX, Windows?).

2. Do I install the same software on all machines?

3. How is the install different from 'master' to client'?
