[Condor-users] reconfigure nodes remotely within private network failes

Hi,

 

I set up a private network pool with just two machines and 4 nodes each. The nodes are listed wihtin the pool (condor_status). I also adjusted the following config defines:

HOSTALLOW_CONFIG

ENABLE_PERSISTENT_CONFIG

PERSISTENT_CONFIG_DIR

SETTABLE_ATTRS_CONFIG

 

But regardless of these changes just calling "condor_config_val -name <machinename> START" fails with the following error message: "Cant' find address of local master <machinename>". Any idea what goes wrong? I actually want to reconfigure condor on all pool machines from the condor master machine.
