Re: [Condor-users] Howto make vanilla universive only run serial jobs and don't suspend any jobs on one-machine Condor?

I changed
SUSPEND_VANILLA = FALSE
but it stilled failed to suspend vanilla jobs and I have no idea of howto tune it.

However, after I set
MAX_JOBS_RUNNING = 4,
then Condor queue worked as I wanted.

This makes Condor only run 4 jobs and the other jobs would wait in the queue.

Thanks.

You should change the SUSPEND policy in the configuration.

http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor/manual/v7.3/3_5Policy_Configuration.html

If you just want your jobs to run once they've started, try looking for
SUSPEND = False.
