Here, on a moderately used machine still running 7.4.1

  PID USER      PR  NI  VIRT  RES  SHR S %CPU %MEM    TIME+  COMMAND
 3468 condor    20   0  126m  31m 2320 S    0  1.6 122:32.01 condor_schedd

(with 14 shadows currently running)

# ps auxw | grep schedd
condor    3468  0.0  1.5 129492 32464 ?        Ss   Feb01 122:32 condor_schedd -f

So the leak must be small... but apparently it was there before 7.4.2
