Thanks for the info!  Just one question: prior to experimenting
with the dynamic binaries, had you been successfully running the 
condor-7.4.1-linux-x86-rhel5.tar.gz binaries?  That is, were you
running statically linked binaries intended for RHEL5 on CentOS 4
successfully?
