I've never tried that before, so I'm not certain.  Would dropbox contain
input/output or both.  B/C it seems any file ops would still go across
the wire, albeit to a 3rd party loc.

If your looking to save xfer inside an ami, you might want to look into
EBS-Volumes which can be mounted to your image.  If your running the
developer series of condor, recent additions will allow you to spin up
said resources via condor and bind EBS volumes whenever on startup.
I've never tried mounting the volumes outside of an ami-instance, but I
"would think" that should be possible.
