Re: [Condor-users] Unable to remove other users jobs from queue [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi,
 And If you're user is not Condor's owner maybe you'll need to setup this variable in the Scheduler:

QUEUE_SUPER_USERS = YouUser,CondorsUser,root

I'm unsure if the Condor'sUser and root are necesary, they are Queue administrators by default but I don't remember if the Variable is append to the default users or if it is the total list of the users.

Hope this help you.

Bye

condor_rm does not have a -global option, and -all removes all jobs from a single Schedd.

You can condor_status -schedd and iterate with condor_rm -name <name from listing> -all

*UNCLASSIFIED*

Hi,

When I run condor_q –global, I see idle jobs from users that I want to
remove. When I run condor_rm –all, I get a message ‘Could not remove all
jobs.’ In order to remove jobs that I did not submit from the queue, I
believe I need to be an administrator. In my condor_config file on my
machine, I have my username under ALLOW_ADMINISTRATOR i.e.
ALLOW_ADMINISTRATOR = user@xxxxxxxxxx.

How do I ensure this is set up correctly? Does this need to be set on
the central manager and not my local machine? Our entire Condor
environment is on Windows.

Thanks in advance,

Peter
