Thanks for the reply/info. I originally excluded all Condor processes and Condor home path from Symantec anti-virus some time ago because I discovered this problem--I was not cognizant of the Windows search or the others mentioned on this list. A short wiki page describing some of these issues could be useful to the Condor community. I will look into this, but I currently have only been using the condor wiki as a resource and I have not contributed any content, but I presuming if I create an account I can add something--if not maybe someone from the Condor team can do this. I will investigate this tomorrow.

Include Windows Defender and Windows Security Essentials in the virus checkers/scanners that need to have C:\condor excluded from scanning.
