[Condor-users] no tty

Hello,

What are the user experiences running a job that requires an interface/gui on linux?  We have a simulation that requires a gui, but there is no controlling terminal when the condor startd runs the job.  We have a work-around to this issue by starting a pseudo terminal from within the job and then starting X, but would like to hear other ideas on how to overcome/resolve not having a tty.
