Hi, 

It looks more like an access issue rather than purely a "CIFS" related issue. 

Are you sure you can read and write into the folder condor is trying to access from / write to? 

We use Condor on Linux with CIFS shares routinely, and face no problems.

I am trying to submit jobs from CIFS mounted directory (Windows) on Linux machine.

 

Because chmod is not working on CIFS mounted directory the job couldn’t run successfully.
