Some advantages of using vmuniverse: 

1.) Helps for jobs which require a complex-preconfig'd environment (e.g. Matlab)

2.) Completely sandbox'd 

3.) A method of initializing pre-configured/scalable sw-services.

Hello condor team,

i have some doubt regarding virtual machines in condor pool

If i run multiple virtual machine on a machine in my condor pool.
then no doubt i can have a big condor pool.
but then what effect it will have on time required to finish a job.


Does anyone is using virtual machine in condor pools, and what
advantages and disadvantages were observed when having a condor
pool of virtual machines.
