Hi Again,
OK I must apologize for my posts to date. I was too excited to form coherent thoughts.

After playing around for a couple of days I can't seem to get my machines to be added to the pool unless I specify ALLOW_WRITE = *
It works (and submits jobs) with ALLOW_WRITE=* but will likely be a deal breaker if I can't figure this out.

Here are the particulars:

1) name resolution works both ways.
2) Have UID_DOMAIN set to uncw.edu , TRUST_UID_DOMAIN and SOFT_UID_DOMAIN True
3) master node FQDN= <master>.cis.uncw.edu, WIN execute <worker>.uncw.edu
4) execute nodes are NOT FQDN but are resolvable by the master.

Is there a way to see what is actually presented to the master for UID_DOMAIN when an execute node attempts to add itself?

Thanks for all the help and bearing with an excited geek! :)
