[HTCondor-users] condor_q/condor_status: "no version information available" with gcc-11.2.0

Hello,

I have just installed condor-8.8.17-1.el7.x86_64.

If I have gcc-11.2.0 enabled in my PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH, I get errors like the ones below if I run some HTCondor command (for example, condor_q or condor_status):

condor_status: /data2/bin/gcc-11.2.0/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available (required by condor_status)
condor_status: /data2/bin/gcc-11.2.0/lib64/libgomp.so.1: no version information available (required by /usr/lib64/libcondor_utils_8_8_17.so)
condor_status: /data2/bin/gcc-11.2.0/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available (required by /usr/lib64/libcondor_utils_8_8_17.so)
condor_status: /data2/bin/gcc-11.2.0/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: no version information available (required by /usr/lib64/libclassad.so.14)

However, if I have gcc-6.4.0 enabled in my PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH, then no errors occur.

 * Could you please let me know if condor-8.8.17-1.el7.x86_64 is incompatible with for some reason with gcc-11.2.0?
 * Is there any way to resolve the problem?
 * Are later versions of HTCondor compatible with gcc-11.2.0?
