Yeah, it should be.  We've been running it on _our_ pool for quite some time 
now.  You could also, in this case, "mix & match"; run a 6.5 Collector with 
the rest of your pool running 6.4.

Hope this helps.  If this _doesn't_ fix it, then we should try to understand 
what is going on in there.
