Largest known condor pool is at Oracle with more than 2000(Solaris) + 300
(Windows) + 60 Linux servers and running approx. 10000 long running compute
and data intensive jobs/per day with uptime of 99.999. They are soon going
to add additional 4000 servers. Optena Corporation provides an enhanced and
scalable version of Condor for Oracle Corp.

Hi,

I was wondering about the UW Condor pool, which is pretty large.

What are the specs on your central manager machine? Also, do you run
the usual 5 daemons on that one machine, or do you run the negotiator
elsewhere perhaps?

What about your checkpoint server, what type of machine is that? How
many checkpoint servers do you have?

What is largest known Condor pool?

Thanks,

Scott
