RE: [condor-users] Error when running job through web interface

Hi,

the problem happens consistently everytime a job is submitted from the web application. So i do not think its due to the periodic timer. I am running Condor 6.4.7 on the submitting machine(a way to get around the credential storing problem) and 6.6.0 on the execution machine. Are there any information i can provide to help determine if this is a Command line vs web problem?

Anyway, the 2 jobs that i submitted yesterday is still "running"

ID OWNER SUBMITTED RUN_TIME ST PRI SIZE CMD
 1.0 IWAM_TESTDEV7 2/16 09:48 1+00:14:42 R 0 0.0 hello.bat
 3.0 IWAM_TESTDEV7 2/16 09:52 1+00:18:37 R 0 0.0 hello.bat

2 jobs; 0 idle, 2 running, 0 held

Condor_rm cannot work (Permission Denied to remove job x). May i know is there other way i can get them out of the local queue (running 6.4.7)

Thanks and Best Regards

i'm not sure that is has anything to do with submitting from the command
line vs. via a web portal. does this happen consistently? if so, i may
be guessing incorrectly what is wrong.

which version of condor are you using? this looks initially to me like a
session expiration bug that was fixed in 6.6.1. there was a periodic timer
every 8 hours that was clearing out stale sessions and if you were unlucky
and your job exited during a small window, it would die in this fashion.
