RE: [condor-users] Negotiator crash when using condor-g

Hi Alain,

I have used the classAds as below:

MyType = "Machine"
TargetType = "Job"
Name = "eresearch-condor"
gatekeeper_url = "eresearch.phy.bris.ac.uk/jobmanager-condor"
Requirements = TRUE
Rank = 0.000000
CurrentRank = 0.000000
WantAdRevaluate = TRUE
UpdateSequence = 4
State = "Unclaimed"
Activity = "Idle"
CurMatches = 0
StartdIpAddr = "<137.222.58.92:33721>"
LastHeardFrom = 1080156275

MyType = "Machine"
TargetType = "Job"
Name = "eresearch-fork"
gatekeeper_url = "eresearch.phy.bris.ac.uk/jobmanager-fork"
Requirements = TRUE
Rank = 0.000000
CurrentRank = 0.000000
WantAdRevaluate = TRUE
UpdateSequence = 4
State = "Unclaimed"
Activity = "Idle"
CurMatches = 0
StartdIpAddr = "<137.222.58.92:33721>"
LastHeardFrom = 1080156275

I also updated my system today to 6.6.2 just in case I had an 'old
version' problem.

Which of the values will get updated automatically when a job is
executed on a resource?

Regards

David

Can you give us an example of exactly what your ClassAds for your grid
resources look like? That is, do a condor_status -l <name> and send it
back?

The old ClassAd code can be pretty sensitive to mistakes in the ClassAd,

and exactly how to make a correct old ClassAd is not well documented.

Thanks,
-alain
