[HTCondor-users] periodic_remove based on the output of script?

Hi,

I guess this is a very weird question, but with HTCondor you never know. It may be one of the thousands of knobs in pageÂ517 :)

Is it possibleÂto somehow hook PERIODIC_REMOVE with an external script, and set its value to True/False based on the outputÂof that script?

If not possible, an alternative could be that this external scripts runs in parallel, eventually creates a flag file, and PERIODIC_REMOVE reacts to the presence of that file. Would that be doable?Â
