[Chtc-users] Those using SOAR for automated production on submit.chtc.wisc.edu

To aid in the transfer to our new submit server I am turning the scrubber
to clean out results and runs which are 7 days old. So in a week we won't
be using the space. We are leaving all the job data alone in your home
directories so should you not have immediately taken results we can always
rerun the jobs.

We are not turning SOAR on again on that submit node.

SOAR production is moving to our new submit node which for
now is called submit-1.chtc.wisc.edu. Eventually it will be
submit.chtc.wisc.edu.

The only two projects which will be working for now
will be eeg_simJC and Gauction.

If you need to start up again before we complete
the move of everyone to the new submit node
you will have to request that. That estimated time
is around 1/10/2012.

In the meantime we will restart your productions
one by one based on requests.

Send an email to condor-inf@xxxxxxxxxxx with
the following subject and have your submit
login name in the body of the email:

Move user account for SOAR production.

If it happens before I come back 1/3/2012,
they will let me know and I will establish
your production from home shortly.
