We tested Gems with UltrasparcIII/Solaris checkpoints (serengeti target). You
can try other configurations as well, but these were not tested and are not
guaranteed to work (though there is no specific reason for why not). Opal,
however, uses the Sparc instruction set. There are no specific flags that we
used to create such checkpoints.

P.S. Weihang, you should subscribe to the mailing list using the non-digest
option. Otherwise, these responses might not get to you when someone just uses
(Reply) except when a new digest is sent.
