Hi,
I have some questions about the x86 patch.
Is Gems simulating out-of-order x86 or in-order x86? Will the speculative
memory accesses on the mis-predicted branch path be simulated in x86
simulation or not?
Thanks
Shan

Hello all!

In response to recent bug reports, Version 0.4 BETA of the Ruby
SPARCv9-to-x86 patch has been released. You can find it on the GEMS
distitbution page.

X86 users: Please be sure to check out the CHANGES file.

Be aware that simulations run with versions 0.3 BETA and earlier were
*NOT* properly accounting for accesses from CPUs other than CPU 0.

Thanks for your patience. Please continue reporting bugs to gems-users,
or directly to me via gibson@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Regards,
Dan Gibson
