Hi, Dave,

I think you should modify the "phys-mem0" in GEMS/ruby/module/ruby.c to "phys-mem".

Hope it can work!

Hello,

I have just finished installing unmodified GEMS 1.3.1
with Simics 3.0.23. Everything seems to work fine
except Ruby's user misses are always zero.
phys-mem.info returns the following after loading and
initializing Ruby:

simics> phys-mem.info
Information about phys_mem [class memory-space]
===============================================

                 Snoop device : none
                 Timing model : ruby0

As my GEMS installation does not work with Simics
3.0.2*, I will go back to Simics 2.2.19. I was hoping
to use Simics 3.0.2* , as it comes with DML. If anyone
has been successful with GEMS 1.3.1 and Simics 3.0.2*
installation, please let me know.

Regards,

Dave
