[Gems-users] setting list paramaters in opal

This might be a stupid question, but what is the proper syntax for  
setting list parameters in opal.   I'm trying to set the  
CONFIG_NUM_ALUS variable at the command line, and every method I've  
tried is giving errors with the list arguments.   While I can always  
modify config.defaults it would be easier to put these in a script I  
run.
