Subject: Re: [Gems-users] debugging network
The following output is from the network debug output.
I've noticed that there is no port name for the first
message in the buffer. That's the message which
eventully causes the sequencer to deadlock. If the
message does not have a port name such as [Chip 0 0,
L3Cache, L1requestNetwork_in], does it still get
delivered? If not, how can I fix it?

Debug: in fn virtual void Throttle::wakeup() in
network/simple/Throttle.C:201: [MessageBuffer:
consumer-yes [PrioHeap: [28, 1, [RefCnt: [RequestMsg:
Address=[0xe8958d00, line 0xe8958d00] Type=GETS
Requestor=L1Cache-0 RequestorMachine=
Destination=[NetDest (3) 1  - 0 0  - 0  - ] Acks=0
MessageSize=Request_Control AccessMode=UserMode
Prefetch=No Time=13 ]]; ] [36, 2, [RefCnt:
[RequestMsg: Address=[0xe8959280, line 0xe8959280]
Type=GETS Requestor=L1Cache-1 RequestorMachine=
Destination=[NetDest (3) 1  - 0 0  - 0  - ] Acks=0
MessageSize=Request_Control AccessMode=UserMode
Prefetch=No Time=13 ]]; ], ]] [Chip 0 0, L3Cache,
L1requestNetwork_in]

Thanks,

Dave
