[Gems-users] Gems 2.0, availability (up)date?

Hi,

Is there an up to date tutorial that covers Ruby and the LogTM
protocols? I'm trying Ruby for the first time and am making slow, but
steady progress, as I'm having to trawl through the mailing lists...
perhaps I missed an easier route?

If there is such a tutorial I'd be grateful for the link. Also there was
mention of any updated Gems (2.0?) at HPCA07, any further news on a
likely release date?
