i think copying ruby.so and opal.so directly to the directory where u call simics ,may work

The SIMICS_EXTRA_LIB is set correctly:

lois:/opt/lois/gems/opal$ echo $SIMICS_EXTRA_LIB
/opt/lois/gems/simics/home/MOSI_SMP_bcast/modules

but the load fail
