I copy

simics/home/MOSI_SMP_bcast/modules/python/mod_ruby_commands.py

to

simics/home/MOSI_SMP_bcast/modules

and now, in simics:

simics> list-failed-modules -v

Current ABI version: 1406  Lowest supported: 1302

Name  Error                     Path
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No module name in module  ./modules/mod_ruby_commands.py
No module name in module  /opt/lois/gems/simics-3.0.31/x86-linux/lib/pmon.py
No module name in module  /opt/lois/gems/simics-3.0.31/x86-linux/lib/ppc64_simple_components.py
simics>

Is this OK?

I probe with

#ln -s ../protocol/modules modules
#ln - s ../protocol/lib lib
#ln - s ../protool/x86-linux x86-linux

but the "load-module ruby" doesn't work.

Is it posible that the ruby.so is wrong? How can I check that my ruby
module is well compiled?

Thanks in advance,
Lois

    I copied ruby.so to /opt/lois/gems/simics/home/MOSI_SMP_bcast and executed

    lois:/opt/lois/gems/simics/home/MOSI_SMP_bcast$ ./simics -stall -c
    /opt/lois/gems/checkpoints/first-sarek.check

    simics> load-module ruby
Error loading module 'ruby': Module 'ruby' not found

    simics>

I tried to copy ruby.so in several places, but i can't load it

i think copying ruby.so and opal.so directly to the directory where u call
    simics ,may work

        The SIMICS_EXTRA_LIB is set correctly:

        lois:/opt/lois/gems/opal$ echo $SIMICS_EXTRA_LIB
        /opt/lois/gems/simics/home/MOSI_SMP_bcast/modules

        but the load fail
