Hi,

1. What Simics version are you running?
2. Also, the script looks for disk images and if it doesn't find any, it will create one. Can you please check to see what it is actually doing?
3. Also, how many processors are you specifying, remember they can only be powers of 2.
4. The script points to a lot of different files. Can you make sure that it definitely finds all of them and finds the right ones?

But in general, you don't actually have to use the script. You could look on the simics web-site and I am sure they describe exactly how to create the checkpoint. I think this might actually be a better option.

Hi Guys :
Hope you doing good.  I am using "naked-check-create.sh" script  to install solaris 10 from DVD image. This script is provided by GEMS. At the begining of installation i got a message "corrupt label -- wrong magic number" number of times. but i did not stop installation of solaris 10. In real machines we can format Hard disk to solve that problem.
When the installation completed, and i tried to boot from installed disk, i got a message "Bad magic number in disk label".

I dont know how to get rid of that problem.

If anyone knows and could please spare some time for writing answer.

An early response will be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
