Subject: [Gems-users] make checkpoint files for GEMS
Hi All,

I am a newbie to GEMS. I installed GEMS2.1.1 and about to create checkpoint files. The GEMS manual says checkpoints can only be created by Simics 2.2.19, however, Virtutech/Intel does not support Simics 2.x any more. Could you tell me whether I can use Simics 3.X to create checkpoints and whether the checkpoint script in GEMS still work?
