Subject: [Gems-users] Different types of Memory with Ruby

Hi all,

I would like to simulate hybrid memory architecture for my research.

What I want to do is instantiating 2 memory modules simultaneously with different access timing, so that the linux, in the simics, can recognize them as main memory.

I found that the memory timing parameters can be changed from the document: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/gems/doc/gems-wiki/moin.cgi/Memory_Controller_Params

But I don’t know how to instantiate another memory module with new timings.

What should I know?

I think I have to change some codes of Ruby module, but I don’t know which code should be modified.

To tell the truth, I don’t know how to start.

Please give me some guide or any information about that.

Thank you.

Regards,

Woomin Hwang
